Chiropractic focuses on diagnosing and treating issues related to joint misalignments (also known as subluxations), especially in the spine. Using hands-on techniques, we detect and correct these misalignments to reduce pain, improve movement, and support your body’s natural healing.
At AFLOW Health, we go beyond just chiropractic. While spinal health is important, we focus on your whole musculoskeletal system — because the body is complex and everything is connected. That means we assess and treat not just the spine, but also other joints, muscles, movement patterns, and even factors like lifestyle, stress, and recovery habits. Every part matters when it comes to long-term health and performance.
Our approach combines:
Chiropractic adjustments to restore proper joint alignment
Soft tissue therapy to release muscle tension and improve mobility
Rehabilitation exercises to strengthen and stabilize your body
We believe lasting results come from more than just passive care. That’s why we focus on active, personalized treatment to help you recover fully and stay at your best — whether you're an athlete or just want to move and feel better every day.
Yes, chiropractic adjustments are generally considered safe for most people when performed by a trained and licensed chiropractor. However, like any medical treatment, they carry some risk, and it's important to consider the evidence supporting their safety.
A comprehensive review published in Spine Journal in 2014 found that the risk of serious adverse events from chiropractic adjustments is very low. The review concluded that while mild to moderate side effects (such as soreness or stiffness) are common, serious complications are rare.
At AFLOW Health, we focus on helping you move better, feel better, and take control of your health. Every treatment is tailored to your needs — no one-size-fits-all approach here.
Depending on what your body needs, your session may include:
Chiropractic Adjustments Gentle, precise joint movements to help improve alignment, reduce tension, and restore mobility.
Soft Tissue Therapy (IASTM) Hands-on massage techniques and tool-based methods like gua sha to ease tight muscles, improve circulation, and support recovery.
Muscle Stimulation (EMS) Gentle electrical pulses to help activate muscles, ease pain, and speed up healing.
Laser Therapy A safe, low-level laser used to reduce inflammation, promote healing, and relieve discomfort.
Rehab Exercises Simple, personalized stretches and movements to help you build strength and stay pain-free long term.
Not everyone will need every treatment. We’ll choose what’s right for you based on how you’re feeling and what your goals are.
We’re here to help you get back to doing what you love — with more confidence, less pain, and better movement.
